Happy New Year 2012!

Happy New Year 2012 again! It’s only the 5th day of the New Year, not too late a post on how I spent my New Year’s Eve :) )

So how did you spent your New Year’s eve? We had another family gathering, another pot luck at Mont Kiara and waited till the clock struck 12AM to usher in the New Year 2012.
Table set, food all set. Just a snap before we indulge ourselves in homemade goodness food! :D
What did we have this round?
Gado Gado with homemade creamy peanut sauce
Fried meehoon
“Fu-pei” roll with chicken and prawn meat
Corn patties
Bumbu Ikan
Chicken rendang
Braised chicken leg with mushroom
Sago with palm sugar and coconut

Palm sugar cendol jelly
There’s another dessert which I forgot to capture – banana cake!
After dinner we hung around chit chatting waiting for the new year to arrive. While waiting, we fooled around as well.
As we start counting down, everyone prepared their cameras, phone and afixed their eyes to the beginning of this

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012!!
It was a spectacular show of fireworks ushering in the New Year as we bade goodbye to 2011.

May we all be more healthy, wealthy and have a smooth ride to the end of 2012. Cheers!
Leaving you with a video of the fireworks we saw that night. Enjoy! :D
