I mentioned about the hotel we stayed in South Korea and also gave you a peek, here’s some larger photos of the hotel. It’s a budget hotel but as I said, I’m surprised at the full amenities it provides.
It has a quaint lobby and on the left is the staircase up to the rooms. There’s lift as well if you’re too lazy to walk up
Lockers are provided for in the hotel but can only fit something as big as an iPad. Luggages if you want to keep them in the hotel are placed at the lobby itself.
Our room came with double and a single bed. What surprised me in the room which is very common in Korea is that it comes with a desktop!
Can you spot the “dinasour aged” desktop? hehehe…. Instead of providing an electric kettle, here they give you a water dispenser for both hot and cold water.
Amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, lotion all comes in full sized. You are not allowed to take them back. Use and leave it there. Surprisingly for a compact room, the bathroom has a bath tub. Kudos!
Breakfast is provided for in our stay. Each morning we head towards the kitchen for our breakfast. It’s quite cramp if you have more than 6 pax inside the kitchen.
It’s all DIY here. Get your own juice from the fridge, make your own coffee, toast or scoop a bowl of hot porridge from the pot.
Seats are available at the perimeter of the kitchen so once you’re done, put your utensils in the basin provided and leave so that the next guest can have their breakfast.
Outside of the hotel, we spotted a cute mail box and an iron wrought bicycle.

If you are taking the subway, exit Jongno 3-ga station (subway line #5). When you are out from the subway, keep a look out for Standard Chartered bank which is a corner lot. Head towards the lane beside Standard Chartered and walk straight. At the second lane turn right and you will see Hotel Biz-Jongro Insadong on your left.

The layout is pretty like those “home-stay” ~
